About the Owner & Chef

Chef Robin Gatter had a passion for cooking from a young age. Starting as a teenager, she worked in local restaurants and for caterers in Connecticut. After moving to Florida in 2003, she continued working in the restaurant and catering industry, learning from amazing chefs and studying world cuisines. In 2009, A Matter of Taste was born. Chef Robin wanted to create a business where the values that are important to her could be reflected in her food.  Local and sustainable is always the focus. We use pastured chicken, grass-fed beef, wild caught and sustainable seafood and organic Non-GMO ingredients. Using only the highest quality ingredients, Chef Robin is able to create menus that are not only delicious but good for the planet.  Chef Robin is currently studying at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and is now offering Health Coaching to bring her knowledge of nutrition and sustainable eating to her clients.
